I'm not sure why the price is basically $15 right now, but 6 shelf brackets for $15 is a STEAL! I wouldn't say they're *perfect*, the screws and drywall anchors felt pretty cheap but those are easy to obtain. This is still a good deal.
these brackets can hold a lot of weight. they are very sturdy and stable. they were very easy to install into our shelf and wall.
These are heavy-duty thick-walled shelf support brackets. They will support most anything you want to put on them PROVIDING you are able to anchor them well. Lots of leverage on the small base plate. I would suggest you use long lag bolts for anchoring. No attaching hardware is include. Great brackets
These shelf brackets looks great and are very sturdy. Made of steel, they are only as good as your wall anchoring. We were able to put our directly into a stud. Made a nice thick oak shelf that fits perfectly in the insets of the bracket. Love the industrial looks, fits in well with our farmhouse theme. Would recommend!
These are described as "rustic", but their simple design lets them easily integrate into almost any interior design. We're modern, and they will look great!
The brackets themselves are *very* substantial. How they hold up will depend entirely on how well they are attached to the wall. The package contains different anchors for use in drywall and concrete, as well as black screws matching the brackets. Included hanging instructions are quite thorough. However, if you want to fasten the shelves to the brackets, you'll need to provide your own screws.
We will be using toggle anchors instead of the plain drywall anchors provided. The brackets themselves are quite heavy, and we want to be extra safe. If you can get these into studs, all the better.
Each bracket has an optional screw-in hook placed about 5.25" from the wall. Disappointingly, the hook is silver, not black. They've got an unusual threading, so they can't be easily replaced with standard cup hooks. I want to use the hooks for?hanging plants, so I guess I'll just paint them. This is the only negative nit I can find with these brackets.
